GURU TV – “The Road Hole” Steep Bunker Shot

Here is the shot that all the players are trying to avoid this week at St. Andrews. When I used to play golf, bunker play was one of my strong suits and I enjoy teaching it as well. With a little knowledge and some practice, you can escape the traps as well.

Enjoy the Open Championship and I will see you on the lesson tee or the bunker whichever comes first,

    Jason,
Can you comment on what Oosthuizen was likely thinking/doing when, before each shot, he paused for a moment while looking at the red dot on his glove? Thanks for all the great instruction.

I screw around and read way too much instruction info. My bunker play was part Utley, part Peltz, part Carter the nice kid from the club who felt sorry for me as I hack up the sand in 100degree heat.

Who knew the guy I work with on my long game had the best and easiest bunker instruction right here on Guru TV.
Great instruction that I can take right to the course. Maybe I should stop reading.
